What sets Southfield Village apart? Our South Bend location, for starters. Southfield Village is a retirement community nestled in the midst of a planned intergenerational subdivision. That means our community is full of life, warmth, and the comforts of home. We’re perfectly positioned in a serene neighborhood on the edge of the city.

Here, feel free to enjoy the calm country life and the bustling city. Want to explore the Studebaker Museum or do some shopping downtown? No problem. Prefer to sit back and take in the scenery? In this community, you’ll have it all, plus enjoy the company of wonderful people who’ll become your greatest friends.

Here’s what residents love about Southfield Village on the Southside:

  • It’s already home. Most residents lived just around the corner.
  • Surrounded by the life of a family neighborhood
  • Cheering for the Fighting Irish at nearby Notre Dame
  • Thriving downtown cultural arts scene
  • Beautiful and fruitful resident gardens
  • Meals created by an award-winning chef

Feel free to ask us anything.
We mean it.

Care and services

Our greatest hope: You’ll live life with a big smile. We do our best to make sure you’ve got all you need to make that happen. The company of great neighbors, exciting activities, meals from an award-winning chef and – most of all – really kind people.

As a continuing care community, Southfield Village is designed to be home to a wide range of people (55 and up) with a variety of care needs – from no support to round-the-clock care. Every day, we do our very best to meet the needs of every resident.

Tell us what you need, and we’ll take it from there.
